The venue was a great place to visit.  There was just too much to see in an area steeped in a rich history.  Almost every port was at a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Our trip was augmented with private tours arranged by Warren Johnson in Copenhagen and Stockholm.

Regent's Seven Seas Explorer was luxurious and the organized events were well prepared.  The company however, failed to perform on a personal injury caused by a sub-contracted bus, timely disembargation in Stockholm, and failed hotel transfer to the airport, causing passenger problems which one should not experience with a top of the line tour company.

Cruise Selection and Booking

The Tauck Cruise is shown only for comparison.  Nobody is interested in the Tauck options.

I recommend booking the Concierge Level or higher level.  It includes 1 night pre-cruise hotel and priority selection of excursions and dinner.  In order to get cabins together, we need to find the cabins that have showers and not tubs with showers.  Some of us have difficulty getting in/out of tubs w/showers.  I have not found that Info in the Regent Cruise documentation.

If you think that you might go on this trip, you might want to go ahead and book.  The cancellation fee up to 121 days prior to departure is only $100 (plus any fee your travel agent may add).  However, read the Terms and Conditions (CLICK HERE) to confirm for yourself.

Medical Insurance

Emergency Medical Insurance was purchased through www.squaremouth.com (aggregator) for $194 for TWO people.  It includes Primary Medical Insurance for $150,000 and emergency medical evac for $1,000,000 and non-medical for $150,000, plus a bunch of miscellanous coverage for delays, etc.
